pb Tierney, Bil Perceptions in Astrology 2nd Mercury Hour 1980 £55 The first trade paperback edition, enlarged and revised from the original oversized edition of 1975 AUTHOR-SIGNED COPY. Glossy card covers in vgc, with one heavy crease across lower outer margin of front cover, and moderate reading creases down inner margins and to spine; short crease across lower outer corner of rear cover. This copy signed by Tierney to inside of front cover, in presentation to the original owner, who appears to have been an associate of his, dated 4/10/81. Her signature appears below too. Internally, there is very pale yellow highlighting to a fair number of early pages up to p. 40, so faint you can hardly see it; then stronger yellow-orange highlighting to pp. 39-41, 45-6, 49, 52-3, 95, and 189-190. All other pages unmarked. Externally vgc; internally only good, but a rare book, and even rarer with the author’s signature and presentation note, which is the main reason to get this copy, turning it into unique piece of social history from the author’s own personal world.
