Vol. 1 has had the inner spine carefully reglued to the backstrip with archival book glue to strengthen the internal binding, leaving part of the page block very slightly offset from the rest and tighter inner margins at the join between pp. 102-3, without affecting text; otherwise fine. Vol. 2 with light rubbing to extremities of spine; both vols. with barcode labels to lower margins of rear cover, else fine. Both volumes with plain-pencilled bookseller notes to half-title pages, but no other internal markings, and no faults found. A very rare set
