hb Stuart, Alec The Secrets of the Meridian 1st Printed by Jarrold and Sons, Limited, The Empire Press, Norwich 1926 £25 The book was reprinted in 1930, but this is the true first edition of 1926 Original small-format full red paper-covered boards in vgc+ condition, with light bumping and wear to cloth over lower outer corners of boards, relative sun-fading to spine, and a little dark-staining to inner margin of rear board. Gilt titling to front board faded as usual, but still clearly legible. Plain-pencilled bookseller notes to ffep. One sentence spanning pp. 12-13 mostly underlined in blue ink. No other markings or faults found to any other page. Externally vgc+; internally good+. Overall, very good antiquarian original of the prized first printing.
