About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from one of our original printings of an issue from approximately 1849 of this undated work.
Prominent mid-20th century English astrologer William Simmonite ran a quarterly journal called The Quarterly Celestial Philosopher from 1844 to 1849. While it was still running, but shortly before it folded, highlights of the contents were compiled into this, the projected first compendium volume of a series that never went any further. It was later posthumously edited by John Story and reissued under a revised title in 1890, but this is the original edition.
