About this Book Scan
Sepharial (whose real name was Walter Gorn Old) was one of the most prolific and influential British astrological writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
His New Manual of Astrology was first published by George Redway in 1898 (see the listing for the 1898 edition, of which a scanned copy is also available from Astrolearn). It was revised with additional content when first republished by Nichols in 1903. The 1909 printing we have of the Nichols edition is believed to be unaltered from that of 1903, so it could be said to be the second printing of the second overall edition of the book.
Our full-colour scan sold here comes directly from our original printing of the 1909 edition described above.
