About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the complete bound volume spanning January 1905 to November 1905, which was dubbed Volume 2 of the New Series of Modern Astrology.
From 1905 to 1908 inclusive, no December issue of Modern Astrology appeared. Instead, a publication called The Astrologer’s Annual was produced, nominally dated to the following year in each case. These are available for separate download from Astrolearn – see under the heading The Astrologer’s Annual.
Modern Astrology magazine was launched in August 1895 by Alan Leo and ran as a monthly until well after his death in 1917 before eventually settling into bimonthly publication in the 1930s.
It provides a mine of insight into the astrological community surrounding Alan and Bessie Leo and their associates and successors.
The bound volumes were invariably offered without the original separate issue covers or end-leaves of advertisements, and ours is no exception.
