About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the apparent first edition of 1887.
Pioneering esoteric astrologer Hiram Erastus Butler of Boston, Massachusetts, founder of the Esoteric Fraternity that eventually settled in Applegate, California, unleashed a revolution in astrology with his 1887 book Solar Biology, introducing a heliocentric perspective and giving particular prominence to the influence of the natal Sun and Moon signs upon human personality.
NB: Although the spine of our source copy is incongruously marked ‘Second Edition’, there is no indication in the internal print of it being anything other than the first.
