About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from the 28 issues of Modern Astrology magazine in which it was irregularly serialised between January 1902 and 1908.
Astro-Physiology and Pathology was Däath’s more advanced theoretical work on medical astrology, and appeared only in serial form in the magazine. Although it was never separately published as a standalone book, it was highly regarded by astrologers in its day.
This scan is offered as a convenience to those interested chiefly or solely in Däath’s work on medical astrology and not wanting to have to trawl through nine successive volumes of Modern Astrology magazine to look for its component parts.
Please note that the first 95 pages (of 132) in this file use adaptive compression, which results in a slightly sharper contrast at the edges of printed characters though at some expense to how natural they appear. This was an early scanning method we used until mid-2013 before moving to lossless compression. There should be no effect on the comprehensibility of the text.
Däath also wrote a shorter book called Medical Astrology for Alan Leo’s Astrological Manuals series. This was published in 1908, the same year as the appearance of the final parts of his Astro-Physiology and Pathology, but the content is quite distinctive and it was more oriented towards the elementary astrological student wanting a beginner’s instruction manual in medical astrology. It is available as a separate download from Astrolearn.
