About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the first edition of 1910.
H. S. Green, a senior astrologer in Alan Leo’s circle who contributed from an early stage to The Astrologer’s Magazine and Modern Astrology, was one of the leading authors of books in Alan Leo’s Astrological Manuals series published by Modern Astrology Office and Fowler.
The Reason Why in Astrology, or Philosophy and First Principles was the definitive revised edition H. S. Green’s book on the theory of astrology for the Astrological Manuals series. It was significantly expanded and partly re-written from the first edition of 1903, published under the title Theoretical Astrology, which is also separately available as a download from Astrolearn.
