[1] This fuller title appears on the overall volume title pages to Vols. I and II only. Vol. III lacks a title page, and only the abbreviated title is in evidence on the individual issues; but if one was present it could not deploy the ‘monthly magazine’ epithet in any case on account of publication being only quarterly in Vol. III

[3] The first issue of Vol. II
[4] Believed to have been the last issue published
About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printings of the complete bound set of all 26 issues published, which is now rare.
In 1892, prominent late 19th century English astrologer Alfred John Pearce set up his second astrological magazine, The Future: A Monthly Magazine of Predictive Science & Events of the Day. Unlike his other astrology magazines, this adopted a large dual-columned format, packing in a huge amount of text per page. It ran for 26 issues from February 1892 to July 1894, all of which are faithfully reproduced here. The contents include valuable insights into Pearce’s views on various points of astrology that were hotly contested in his day, including aspect orbs.
