About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from one of our two original printings of the 1914 first edition.
Symbolism and Astrology by Alan Leo was a short book published as part of the extensive Astrological Manuals series he edited. It was projected as being the first volume in a new subseries called the Esoteric Series following the completion of the original series of 14 manuals, whose dates of first publication had spanned 1901 to 1912. However, in practice, no further volumes in the new subseries appeared, ostensibly because Alan Leo died in 1917 before his further plans for it had had time to bear fruit.
