[1] Internally undated, but 1954 is printed on the dust jacket spine. References in the bibliography to Raman’s ‘Studies in Jaimini Astrology’ and Hone’s ‘Modern Text Book of Astrology’ prove in any case that the present work cannot predate 1951. Worldcat library catalogue records tentatively suggest 1941, but this may be based on a misapprehension since a review dated 1941 of an earlier book by the author is quoted from on the rear dj flap, and there is no indication internally that this is a later edition
[1a] A compilation of ten articles by the author on the horoscope of Jesus, the horoscope of King David, and similar themes, some of them being reproduced in facsimile from their original appearances in magazines such as Astro-Logic, Astrology Now, and Mercury Hour; another being a transcript of a lecture delivered to the AFA Convention at Atlanta in 1978
[2] This edition has been “enlarged with current research on the Horoscopes of Jesus and David, including ephemerides of Jan. – Dec. 7 B.C., April 6 A.D., December 24 A.D., April 26 A.D., June 26 A.D., and October and November 1062 B.C.”. The copyright page also notes that a “Special Numbered Introductory Edition” of 200 copies only was produced in 1978, before the official 1979 first edition, q. v. above.
[3] The pagination of the first three prefatory pages, thus, is in reverse order, but they are printed in the logical reading order.
[4] A facsimile reprint under its own binding of an article previously published in two unspecified issues of Astrology Now magazine
[4a] Copyrighted 2008-2012, suggesting a probable earlier appearance of some of the component material
[5] Contains various lunar and calendrical mathematical calculation formulae.
[6] Additionally, many in erasable plain pencil. It is not always easy to distinguish the purple pencilled markings from these because the shades are very similar. Probably all annotations are by the former owner Dr. Leo Giulini, whose name is inked to the front cover of this copy and pencilled to the title page
[6a] A series of publications edited at this time by Markham J. Geller, François-Guesnet and Ada Rapoport-Albert
[6b] The book was first advertised for sale at the end of 2014, and might have been copyrighted with a later date
[7] “unter Mitwirkung von Dozent Dr. Walter Artelt, Frankfurt a. M., Professor Dr. Paul Diepgen, Berlin, Dr. Dingelday, München, Studienbibliotheksdirektor Dr. Ernst v. Frisch, Salzburg, Museumsdirektor Dr. Max Silber, Salzburg”
[7a] After the first edition of April 2019
[7b] After the original hardcover edition published by Astrological Publishing, Delhi, in 1974; a second edition by the same publisher appeared in 1977
[7c] After previous Sagar reprints of 1997, 1999 and 2001. The original edition is not indicated internally, but the book is shown by Worldcat records to have been first published by Astrological Publications, Delhi, in 1978
[7d] On the title page, the first of these addresses is given; on the copyright page, the other. This might suggest that it was an undeclared reprint were it not for the advertising on the rear cover, which gives both addresses in parallel, stating that the New Janpath Market address is the ‘show room’ and the Ved Mansion address the ‘head office’ for the publisher, which seems also to have traded as Lakshmi Book Store
[8] The content of this book is non-astrological, but in the context of being published by Astro-Analytics, it is clearly relevant to the vogue of the 1970s among astrologers for the subject of past lives
[8a] No library records readily available for this undated title, but the presence of a website address in print indicates probably from the 2000s or later
[9] Pseud. of Jeanne Duzéa
[10] First published 1977 by Para Research. A publisher’s statement records that with the addition of this sixth printing of 1987, the total number of copies in print is 15,400
[11] The author’s own selection of previously delivered lectures and published articles on the topic. In all, twelve essays are featured, of which one in two parts
[12] After the first edition of September 1974 and Second Edition of June 1976
[13] Expanded from the original edition of June, 1975, with hundreds of additional dates of birth for other musicians and composers not featured in the charts, and an index showing the sources for the birth data in the main 100 charts, omitted from the original edition
