Printed books before 1900 added to the astrology library since September 2016

In September 2016, the library was relocated internationally to the UK from Sweden, where it had been based for over 12 years. Following two years in storage, it was then moved to and unpacked within its new setting in South Wales around September to October 2018. Although it was already well-developed by the time it left Sweden, incremental improvements have continued to be made, including some antiquarian purchases during its two years in storage.

This page tracks the oldest printed books added each year since the month of relocation (September 2016), and is restricted to books printed no later than 1900. The period from September 2016 to December 2017 is taken together because no record differentiating acquisitions in late 2016 and those in 2017 has been retained.

In 2022, the main priority was on improving holdings of modern Indian astrology books, so very few antiquarian books before 1900 were added, but 2023 has restored a significant antiquarian focus.
