This edition is likely to be from soon after the copyright renewal date Original card covers in vgc- condition for age, with moderate reading creases and browning to spine; light crease across lower outer corner of front cover; creasing across lower outer corner of rear cover; trace of edge-wear to outer edge of rear cover; and blue-inked telephone number to upper margin of rear cover. Trace of residue and scuffing from removal of former label to inside of front cover. Plain-pencilled sum to upper outer margin of title page. Occasional coarseness in printing as though it were sourced in a facsimile of the original print, but no previous owner markings or other faults found. Overall, a very good copy of this lengthy volume from the series, which is scarce in all editions before 1980
