Complete in [2] + [pp. 3-32] + [2 pages of advertisements] Original small-format full red cloth in vgc+ condition, with gilt titling to front board still mostly strong and bright; no visible wear; trace of liquid-staining to upper inner margins of both boards, else near-fine. Internally near-fine, with tiny accidental blue ink mark to part of outer margin of p. 3, but no deliberate markings or faults found. Overall, a near-fine copy of the second edition of this sought-after book, which is rare in all original editions published in the author’s lifetime.
