Baum, Julie Pluto 2nd American Federation of Astrologers 1971 £65 1st and only AFA hardback edition, April 1971, after the original workmanlike National Astrological Library edition of August 1966, which was the first edition of this English translation, translated by Julie Baum from the German first edition of 1935. The hardback edition is the more desirable one although it came slightly later Original full maroon cloth in near-fine condition for age, with light wear to extremities of spine hinges and outer corners of boards; rear board very slightly bowed. Ffep with neatly printed former astrological institutional ownership label to lower margin, and plain-pencilled price to upper margin. Minimal pinpoint ink stain to upper outer corner of p. 15. Minor pale purplish stain to upper outer margin of p. 94. Two vertical creases in final leaf of advertisements, else near-fine, with no previous owner markings found.
