Internally only good+, thanks to a single blemish in the form of a damp stain to part of the upper inner margins of the earlier pages of the book, occasionally touching the top line of text in the first 100 pages or so, then gradually diminishing and disappearing by p. 282. Plain-pencilled bookseller note to upper outer margin of half-title page, but no other writing or markings found. But for the damp-stain, would be near-fine. Overall, a good+ copy of the original printing of a book that is rare and sought-after in any condition. |
