hb/dj Jones, Marc Edmund Essentials of Astrological Analysis 1st Sabian Publishing Society, New York 1960 £70 The true first edition Original full blue cloth in vgc, with light rubbing to extremities of spine, bottom edges of boards and lower outer corners of boards, and slight spotting to boards. In fair dj, with largely intact front and rear panel and flaps, but one long diagonal tear to upper inner margin of front panel, connected to a crease; browning to spine; chipping to extremities of spine, 7 cm tear to foot of front flap-fold, light rubbing further up front flap-fold, light wear along top edge of front panel, and 5mm tear to bottom edge of rear panel. Hand-inked name of a former owner to ffep has been scribbled over in black ink. Ffep also has two plain-pencilled old prices to it. No markings found to any printed page. Leaves comprising pp. 389-404 with slight crease across lower outer corners, but no other internal faults found. A very good copy of the rare and sought-after first edition, in fair dust jacket.
