Gilt titling to spine remains pleasingly clear although no longer very bright. Ffep with early owner’s plain-pencilled presentation note. Lower margin of title page with neatly adhered D. G. Nelson (Chicago occult bookseller) address label. Occasional plain-pencilled underlining of select phrases within. Blue-inked astrological note to upper margin of p. 14. Former owner’s small red-inked drawings of chart pattern types as defined by Jones to upper margins of relevant pages: ‘splash type’ to p. 37; ‘bundle type’ to p. 41; ‘seesaw type’ to p. 43; ‘bowl type’ to p. 51; unlabelled type to p. 61; ‘locomotive type’ to p. 81; ‘splay type’ to p. 91. Part of one line underlined in black ink to p. 118. No other markings or faults found.
