Probably thanks to the outbreak of World War II in 1939, it was not reprinted and remains very scarce Original blue wave-patterned cloth in vgc+ condition for age, with minor traces of rubbing to extremities of spine and tips of outer corners of boards. Gilt titling to front board still strong and bright; to spine, it is slightly faded but good for its age. Plain-pencilled bookseller notes to ffep. Small old pictorial Hollywood book shop sticker neatly adhered to rear paste-down. Free end-papers slightly toned. No internal markings or other faults found. Overall, an excellent copy of this rare book
