Binding format and presentation notes:
- All issues bound together in their original paper covers in a cloth volume (cloth heavily worn; chipped at top of spine and torn at foot of spine, down parts of hinges, and at outer corners of boards; paper within browned and marginally fragile). Stated paginations include advertisements except those on rear covers
- Separate cloth volume held containing duplicates of the 29 issues from No. 1, Nov. 13, 1937 to No. 38, May 28, 1938, complete with covers and in better paper condition than those in the more complete but worn volume shown above. The internal condition issues mentioned alongside each issue refer only to the copies in the complete volume
[1] The editor’s identity has not yet been established. What seems clear is that it is not one of the past editors of Orion’s Prophetic Almanac, which had definitely folded some years previously. I have seen one very much later reference claiming it was none other than James Leigh, the continuing editor of Link House’s sister publication Prediction Magazine, which incorporated elements of The Weekly Horoscope when it folded immediately after the 39th issue. But I have not seen the following issues of Prediction Magazine and have not been able to verify or refute this claim. Nor did the current staff at Prediction, when I put an enquiry to them a couple of years ago, have any knowledge of the present journal.
