Astromedical Research 3rd printing Pythagorean Publications 1966 £25 After the first impression of 1962 and second of 1965 Original large-format cloth with silver-gilt titling to front board and spine. In near-fine condition, with no obvious wear to cloth, and gilt still bright and strong. Light staining to parts of page-edges. Front paste-down with tiny blue ink stain (2mm?) and some internal creasing, and bears a charming vintage small Theosophical Bookshop address sticker. Old plain-pencilled price to ffep. A few traces of light staining to front and rear endpapers, and trace of fingerprint-staining to lower margin of title page. Minor printing error to bottom of p. 81, with partial or total loss of some words in the expression ‘we now present the horoscopical particulars of some 36 individuals who were in fact attacked by this killer which’ only – this text supplied from our reference copy; all the rest is clear to read. Binder’s trim partially shaves page number from foot of p. 113. Such faults are almost inevitable on self-published books reproduced from typescript. This copy has been checked and found to have no missing pages, which is better than some. No previous owner markings or binding issues found either. But for the slight printing issue at foot of p. 81, would rate as a near-fine copy. Printing error factored into price.
