booklet Muir, Ada Pluto: the Redeemer 1st The Torch Publishing Co. 1932 £125 This is the rare first edition self-published by the author in Canada. A second edition, also by the Torch Pub. Co., would follow in 1939. The book was later reprinted in the USA by Llewellyn, and is more common thus. Original pale green plain card covers in vgc+ condition, with minimal rubbing to foot of spine and light creasing across some outer corners of covers. Early Simplex Publishing Co. importer’s address label to inside of front cover, with remains of another paper label over the top of this, not much obscuring its lettering. Only plain-pencilled mark-up found within, of which marginal bracketing to several pages, with occasionally a little underlining too. No permanent markings found. An excellent copy of the very rare first edition of this historically important pioneering study on astrological Pluto by Canada’s foremost astrologer of the time.
