Complete in [pp. 2-95] + 3 pages of advertisements Original small-format cloth-covered boards with limp cloth spine. External binding in vgc, with light creasing across upper outer corner of front board and lower outer corner of rear board; boards with minor darkening and one tiny liquid stain to lower margin of rear board, but generally clean. The cloth has begun to peel from two outer corners, where it could be carefully reglued if wanted. Internally near-fine. Front inner paper hinge split, and traces of scuffing to front paste-down, but spine remains firmly attached to page block. Binding strained between pp. 64 and 65, but cords holding. This copy with typed definition of precession on old, thin copier paper bound in between pp. 16-17. Red-pencilled marginal brackets to small parts of pp. 56, 58, 59 and 61. Occasional plain-pencilled annotations and marginal brackets, generally faint.
