Grimm, Bad Tölz 1923 £15 469 pages + 2 pages of advertisements Original paper-covered boards in poor condition thanks to split down whole length of front spine hinge. The front board remains attached for now via the webbing down the upper half of the front inner paper hinge, but the binding needs professional repair. Separation to top 2 cm and bottom 6 cm of rear spine hinge. Former owner’s hand-inked paper label glued to blank part of page following copyright page, overlaying previous hand-inked note there. Former owner’s faint red-pencilled underlining and / or marginal bracketing to pp. 38, 42-3, 45, and 88-9; short tear to outer edge of leaf comprising pp. 99-100 (far from text); a few lines of turquoise highlighting to each of pp. 192 and 291. No other faults or markings found. Well worth repairing.
