There is evidence of an earlier edition of 1962, though the printing history is not given here. Original orange card covers in near-fine condition, with a tace of tape residue to inner margin of front cover. Internally partly disbound, with all leaves from pp. 41-72 detached from the binding though together in a block. Leaves from pp. 73-84 had also worked loose but have been rejoined towards the top of the gutter to the following ones with a piece of clear tape, which is no longer adequate. Needs professional repair. Sold as a reading and study copy of this early edition.
