Plain-pencilled bookseller notes to front endpapers, and plain-pencilled sum to rear paste-down. Former owner’s plain-pencilled annotations, marginal brackets etc. to quite a number of pages. Red and blue coloured pencil aspect lines added to diagram on p. 31; otherwise, no permanent markings found. Overall, a very good copy of the rare first edition
