Page-edges mildly browned, but pages themselves still fresh. Frontispiece plate that follows half-title page loosening at upper part of binding and could do with strengthening into the binding. Plain-pencilled note to rear fep. No permanent markings or other faults found. Overall, a very good copy of the rare first edition of this book
