The Book of the Zodiac (Sfar Malwašia) D.C. 31 1st The Royal Asiatic Society 1949 £250   Original cloth in vgc for age, with moderate wear to cloth at extremities of spine and outer corners of boards; scattered white paint spatter traces to front board and front side of spine; and some other staining to rear board. Spine gilt partly faded but still clear to read. Old bookseller address sticker to front paste-down. Old inked name and address, dated July 1957, to ffep, with plain-pencilled inventory number nearby. No markings or other faults found to printed pages. Overall, a very good antiquarian copy of a rare and sought-after source text.
