Light sunning to periphery of covers. Mostly faint trace of damp-staining to part of upper margins of many of first 250 pages, stronger at the very beginning of the volume through to p. 14, and around pp. 150-9; damp-staining to part of outer margins of all pages but stronger at start of vol. Blue dye from insides of covers has partly transferred to adjacent free endpapers. Paper taut in turning. Sold strictly as a reading and study copy accordingly, although there were no internal markings found other than the damp-staining.
