Fowler in the UK in the same year with a different cover design Original textured card covers in near-fine condition, with moderate reading creases to spine and inner margin of rear cover, and a little light edge-wear. Plain-pencilled note to upper margin of title page. Small green slip-of-a-pen mark to outer margin of p. 189, near to plain-pencilled marginal bracket. Geoffrey Dean’s copy, with his hand-inked statistical graph on graph paper tipped in to inner margin of p. 185. Plain-pencilled page reference on p. 191. A little idiopathic dark-staining to pp. 82-3, mostly at gutter and outer margin of p. 83. No other markings or faults found on flicking twice through pages.
