About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the 1906 first edition.
Bessie Leo was a committed theosophist who was married to Alan Leo and took a great interest in the exploration of astrological symbolism from a theosophical perspective.
Her 1906 book Planetary Influences was one of three compendium volumes of her astrological essays originally printed in the pages of Modern Astrology magazine. It was her sole contribution as a named author to the series of fourteen Astrological Manuals collectively edited by Alan Leo from 1901 to 1912. It originally occupied the sixth position in the running order of the Manuals, but by the time of the second edition of 1910, it had been moved to third place.
The 1910 edition of Planetary Influences is also available from Astrolearn as a separate download by way of comparison.
