About this Book Scan
Carefully scanned in full colour from one of our two original printings of the 1879 true first edition.
Alfred John Pearce, one of the most influential and authoritative English astrologers of the late 19th century, wrote his definitive Text-Book of Astrology in two volumes published in 1879 and 1889 respectively, of which this is the first to have appeared and deals with genethlialogy or natal astrology. The two-volume first edition is materially different from the 1911 one-volume edition that has commonly been reprinted since Pearce’s day, with some chapters that were axed from the 1911 edition included only in the original two-volume one.
